How do I sign up as a team?
Simply click the registration button on the city page for which you would like to participate. Once you are on the registration site, one person (typically the team captain) will choose the option to create a team. The team captain will create the team and select a team name. The team captain will also select the number of team members. If you are unsure of the total number of team members you will have, leave that line blank and you are allowed up to 20 team members. Once the team is set up, additional team members can join the team by clicking the "sign me up" button on the city page. Once on the registration site, the new team members will select "join a team" and choose your team name from the drop down menu.
What is the difference between signing up as a team vs. an individual registration?
Each team member will run/walk the entire 5K. There is no relay element to the event. Signing up as a team is just a great way to have fun with friends and save some money all while supporting a great cause TOGETHER!
Is there a limited number of runners allowed at Rock-N-Glow 5K?
Yes. Each race is limited based on the course and venue size. Rock-N-Glow 5K fills quickly and many events sell out. If you want to be a part of the fun, we recommend registering early to avoid being left out.
Is there a way to know how many entries are left for a particular city?
The best way to stay up-to-date on Rock-N-Glow 5K is to follow our Facebook page. We are always updating the page with information about remaining registration slots and other valuable information.
Is the event timed?
Rock-N-Glow 5K is not a timed event. Runners and Walkers tend to take their time because at several stations, awesome music is provided and it is too hard not to stop and get your rock on or maybe even a chicken dance. Rock-N-Glow 5K is all about having fun with friends and family while glowing on the course. You can run, walk, crawl, or dance if you wish. We suggest self-timing for anyone desiring a finish time.
Are walkers welcome at Rock-N-Glow 5K?
Of course! Every Rock-N-Glow 5K has hundreds of walkers participating. We do ask that walkers please start at the back of the line.
Are strollers allowed at Rock-N-Glow 5k?
Yes strollers are welcome. We just ask that you please start at the back of the line for everyone's safety.
Are dogs allowed at Rock-N-Glow 5k?
No dogs are allowed. Sorry!!
Is there an age limit at Rock-N-Glow 5k?
No there is no age limit. 5 years and younger is free. If you want a shirt for this 5 and under child, you can purchase for $10. Younger participants are welcome and encouraged to participate.
What is included with my Rock-N-Glow 5k Registration?
Participants receive a custom Rock-N-Glow 5k t-shirt, race bib, glow swag, race bib, donation on your behalf to noted charity organization and admission to the Rock-N-Glow After Glow Party!
When and where do I pick up my race packet for the Rock-N-Glow 5k?
The exact details of packet pick-up depend on each city. The packet pick-up details are posted on each city page under race information.
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
Yes: A friend or family member may pick up your race packet as long as they have a copy of a valid photo ID and a signed waiver. You can download a waiver on the location page of the race city you are participating. If you are picking up packets for multiple participants, please have a list of those participants and include their first name, last name, age, gender, and team name if applicable as well as a signed waiver for each participant. Remember, NO WAIVER = NO BIB = NO RUNNING
Can friends and family attend the After Glow Party even if they did not participate in the race?
Yes friends and family are welcome to join you at the After Glow Party and enjoy the post-race entertainment and fun for a fee of $10.
Is alcohol at the After Glow Party free for participants?
No. In an effort to keep our registration fees down, we do not provide free alcohol. Alcohol is made available for a small fee for any one over the age of 21 at the hosting venue of each location. Please remember that you will need your ID to purchase alcohol.
Do I have to wear my Rock-N-Glow 5k T-Shirt?
We do encourage you to wear the Rock-N-Glow 5K t-shirt, but you are welcome to wear whatever you like. We know that teams can get really creative with costumes and shirts and we don't want to discourage that. So please let your creativity run wild.
I registered but now I can't participate. Can I receive a refund?
Sorry, but unfortunately we can't issue refunds for the Rock-N-Glow 5k. If you can't make it to the event, you can still pick-up your packet and Rock-N-Glow 5k gear. **Date and Location are subject to change**
I registered but now I can't participate. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
You can transfer your registration to someone else by logging in to www.active.com and self editing your profile. Please note that transfers will not be accepted the week of the event.
Is there a charity partner for Rock-N-Glow 5k?
Yes. We have charity partners for each city. You can view the charity partner information by clicking on each city page.
